The US carriers Enterprise and Hornet arrivedd at Pearl harbor, they are ordered to move out to Midway. -

Admiral Nagumo's carrier force left port for Midway. His force included Akagi, Kaga, Hiryu and Soryu. -
Task Force 16
Sets sail for Midway Island. The task force included; the Enterprise, Hornet, six cruisers and 9 destroyess. They were to do battle with adout 90 other Japanese warships. -
Meeting The Yamato
The Yamato was the most powerful battleship in the Japanese Midway attack force. It was to face Task Force 16 along with two other battleships, a swarm of cruisers, destroyers, troop transports and support ships. -
Task Force 17
Yorktown left Pearl Harbor to join the fleet at Midway Island.Task Force 17 included two cruisers, five destroyers and Yorktown. -
B-17 Attack
Nine B-17 bombers bombed the Japanese support group 700 miles from Midway Island. -
BATTLE OF MIDWAY BEGAN!
The Battle of Midway started 6 months arter the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The battle began because Japan wanted to destroy the U.S's Navy. All hell breaks loose. -
The Japanese were spotted
An American search plane spotted the Japanese carrier strile force. At the same time, Japanese planes were also spotted. -
How the U.S Attacked
Three U.S squadrons from the Enterprise and Yorktown launched their airplanes and damaged three of Japanes's fully armed carriers witch were called the Akagi, Kaga and Soryu. One carrier got away. -
Yorktown is Attacked by Hiryu
Hiryu's torpedo planes attlck and damage Yorktown. Repairs are done to the ship. U.S scouts find Hiryu and it is bombed by the Enterprise. -
Strikes Continue.
The Hornet and Enterprise continue strikes on the Japanese. -
THE BATTLE ENDED!
Heading to port, the Yorktown was hit and sunk by a submarine's torpedo.
