After a brief period as a publicist with Tex McCrary Inc, and as a job writer for CBS News, Walters joined NBC's Today Show, and became the regular "Today Girl". -
Married Lee Guber
He was a theater producer and owner, and they had one daughter, Jacqueline Dena Guber. They divorced in 1976. -
Wrote Magazine Article
She wrote, "How to Talk to Anyone about Practically Anything", which drew upon the kinds of things people have said to her, which were often mistakes. -

Walters joined the view, and is now co-hosting with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shephard, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Co-hosts she's worked with in the past are Rosie O'Donnell, Meredith Viera, Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos, and Lisa Ling. -
