    Women wore full length dresses, with turtle necks and long sleeves with mimimal skin showing.

    Women were still wearing full length dresses with long sleeves but they were using more patterns and started wearing belts.

    In the 1920s there were some major changes in womens clothing. The dresses started to become shorter and the fabric varity was wider. Skirts were also introduced.

    There was very minimal change to clothing in the 1930s although hats became quite popular.

    Women started having more freedom with their dress wear. Their skirts and dresses became even shorter and they began wearing fashion sports clothes.

    Although the dress was still quite conservative the length was shorter and there were less sleeves. They also started using patterned material and puffy skirts.

    The clothing was still getting more revealing and there was even more patterns and colours with use of belts and buttons.

    Women could now be seen wearing these one pieces similar to a shirt and pants and they wore more vibrant colours with different sorts of fabric.

    Designers experimented with different cuts of dresses like straight cut dresses.

    Flower patterns were popular. Strapless dresses were introduced. The dresses got shorter.
