The 'Federation Drought' all places like the rivers in western Queensland dried up and the Darling River almost ran dry at Bourke in New South Wales. Murray River towns such as Mildura, Balranald and Deniliquin all suffered really badly. -

Black Saturday
The Black Saturday fires were really bad. After a long period of time with no rain the worst drought broke out and not much longer after that a massive fire well know as Black saturday followed it very closely for a very long time. Black Saturday took the lives of 173 and injured 5,000 people and took the homes of 2,029 the amount of animals it killed was countless and it burnt over 4,500 square meters of land. Some people say there are not lucky to be, alive there are lucky to survive. -
