Ending of Ondine
Three months into Ondine, Audrey sufferrs from exhaustion, smoking a pack of cigarettes a day and fifteen pounds underweight. On advice from her doctors to rest she quits, and so Ondine closes on July 3 after 157 performances. At the end of the month she flys to an alpine resort Switzerland -

With a span of about a year or so Audrey had been diagnosed with a form of appendical cancer had been treated with Chemo, adn had surgery but only made it an hour into it before is was called of due to it beging spread to far. -
Death
Audrey Hepburn would die quietly in her sleep on January 20th, 1993. In her life she was awarded many awards and many different honors. Her two sons are still alive and healthy and are successful men in their careers. The form of cancer she died from belonged to a group called pseudomyxoma peritonei. It would start in her appendix and not form a tumor but a thin coating over her intestines. She would spend her last christmas with her family that year.
