Apple releases first iPod
I remember being so excited when I first heard about the iPod. As I said, I always loved listening to music on the go. This technology provided a device with more storage for songs than any other device. This set the foundation for Apple products. -
Nintendo Game Boy SP
I remember the first Christmas these were available, I was so excited and hopeful to get this hand held game system. My older cousin had earlier Nintendo hand held models and I was excited for this smaller more portable version. This was my first experience owning a game system that could be taken on the go. -
Nintendo Wii Release
Another year, another Nintendo gaming system. This one however, got you moving and active when playing games. My parents approved of time spent playing this video game system due to the fact that it allowed you to move around more than any other prior game system released. -
iPhone release
As I got older, I remember all of my friends getting cellphones and being able to text and call one another. At this point I had a prepaid flip phone that was only to be used for emergencies. When the iPhone was released, I was so excited for the new touch screen phone option and the different capabilities of this phone. This was the “Big News” that year for my friends and I.
