Rev. Parris is praying over his daughter, Betty Parris, who ls unconscious on her bed. Rev. Parris and his niece Abigail Williams and several other girls reveal that they where doing activities in a nearby forest led by Tituba, Parris's slave from Barbados. -

2nd Event
John Proctor enters the room in which Betty lies in bed, and Abigail tries to seduce him. she is denied, but we learn that Abigail and Proctor had an affair, and that Abigail still has feelings for him, he says hed rather cut off his hand then touch her agian -
3rd Event
Reverend John Hale is summoned from Beverly to look upon Betty and research the incident. He questions Abigail, who accuses Tituba of being a witch. Tituba, afraid of being hanged professes faith in God and accuses Sarah Good and Osburn of witchcraft. Betty, now awake, claims to have been bewitched. -
4th event
Elizabeth asks Proctor to find out if he is late for dinner because of a visit to Salem. She tells him that their housemaid, Mary Warren, has been there all day, Proctor becomes angry, but Elizabeth says that Mary has been named an official of the court -
5th event
Elizabeth tells Proctor that he must reveal Abigail. He saysthat he cant prove what she told him because they were alone when they talked. Elizabeth gets mad because he didnt say he was alone with Abigail. Proctor gets mad that she is accusing him of resuming his affair with Abigail. -
6th event
Mary comes ba and Proctor is furious that she has been in Salem all day. Mary gives Elizabeth a poppet that she made in court, tells the couple that thirty-nine people are now in jail, and that Goody Osborne will hang for her failure to confess to witchcraft. -
7th event
Elizabeth learns that she has been accused of witchcraft but mary defended her -
8th event
ELizabeth expresses to Proctor that she is scared of Abigail trying to accuse her -
9th event
Rev. Hale comes to proctors house, he has them recite commandments, john forgets his tenth and elizabeth reminds him. They seem preety legit to Hale -
10th event
right before hale leaves, he spills the beans about the ids -
11th event
Giles Corey and Francis Nurse arrive and tell Proctor, Hale and Elizabeth that the court has arrested both of their wives for witchcraft. -
12th event
Cheever and Willard/Herrick arrive with a warrant for Elizabeth's arrest. Cheever discovers the poppet that Mary made for Elizabeth, with a needle inside it. Cheever tells Proctor and Hale that, after apparently being stabbed with a needle while eating at Parris' house, Abigail accused Elizabeth's spirit of stabbing her. Mary tells Hale that she made the doll in court that day and stored the needle inside it. She also states that Abigail saw this because she sat next to her. -
13th event
Proctor tells Mary she needs to testify agianst the girls, relunctantly she agrees -
14th event
giles corey interrupts his wifes trial claiming he has new evidence for the court about how putnam wants land and tumber -
15th event
They all enter the vestry including john proctor and mary warren as well as Abigails cult -
16th
Proctor and giles present evidence including a testimony to prove the girls are liars -
17th
abigail and girls pretend mary is sending out her spirit,john gets angry and calls her a whore he then admits his lechery -
18th
they bring in elizabeth to see if hes elling the truth he is but elizabeth denies lechery to protect his name , then the girls pretend that marys hurting her, mary cracks and then turns on john who denounces god and Hale even leaves denouncing the proceedings -
19th
Elizabeth is brougth in to talk to john john confesses then backs out and denounces the confession -
20th
john is led to the gallows to die with honor like a real man
