  • Hospital

    Alex Rider is in a hospital in England to start the book(he was injured at the end of the prior book). He is progressing and is soon to be released.

  • Henchmen get into hospital

    4 henchmen are sent into the hospital one night to get Paul Drevin out for Nikolai. They encounter Alex playing a disguise as Paul, and kidnap him.

  • Leaving England

    Nikolai's henchman Kasper has Alex leave England to go to the Drevins' island. However, Alex is not aware of any evil yet.

  • Bad people try killing Alex

    A worker for Mr. Drevin takes Alex scuba diving, but runs him out of oxygen and Alex barely survives after being ditched. CIA agent Tamara Knight rescued Alex. Drevin wants Alex dead so he can do his plot to blow up an outer space hotel and have the debris destroy Washington D.C.

  • Drevin starts plan

    Nikolai Drevin is getting set to launch his rocket that has supplies to destroy the outer space hotel. The CIA boards Alex in attempt to stop the plan.

  • Alex in outer space

    Alex is in outer space where he meets Kasper who came up in a different rocket. Alex stabs Kasper at the hotel and prevents Drevin's plot from working. Alex then comes down to Earth and ends up on the shore of Australia where the next book starts. End of book.
