This helps with foreign relations and ends the conflict between the tension of both countries and brought peace between both of them.

    Hostages were sent home on January 20-21 in 1981. The 52 American Hostages, seized from the U.S. embassy in Tehran in November 1979. The hostages were formally released into United States custody the day after signing the Algiers Accords, just minutes after American President Ronald Reagan was elected.
