It end up allowing segregation to be allowed. the new Orleans state law would be continued to the supreme court and be conflicting with the 13th and 14th amendment.The "separate but equal" doctrine was quickly extended to cover many areas of public life, such as restaurants, theaters, restrooms, and public schools. soon it will be taken down though by the Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, court case.

After all the protesting the Supreme Court finally ruled that it was unconstitutional for public buses to have segregation.

Instead of going in the first day of school they would be stopped and turned away by state troops. Out of all these students only four would end up graduating. The rest wouldn't because of all the pressure and harassment they would get. even after segregation wasn't allowed anymore it was still hard for African Americans

The people who would follow with this would always be doing doing civil disobedience. these people who go to dinners and just sit at any "whites spot". they would take any harm being thrown at them by the whites so they can make a remark. 300 hundred students would end up joining this protest. All of this finally leading up to SNC commite.

Moses was one of the most convenient persons to have led freedom summer. the end result was to let blacks have a vote.

By the end of 1966, only 4 out of the 13 southern states had fewer than 50 percent of African Americans registered to vote.
