Cupid is angry with Apollo's insult, and gets revenge. Little does Apollo know, that Cupid's arrows create far more harm & danger than prevously asumed.

Daphne finally can run no longer, she can feel Apollo's breath in her hair. She pleads for her fathers help. No answer. Then it happens....

Daphne begs for her fathers mercy when pleading not to make her marry. Soon after, Apollo begins to chase her into the woods. She runs, and, runs, and runs. He doesn't catch her.

Daphne, no sooner than her shrieks of fear, and hopefullness fade, becomes a tree. A tree in which Apollo is in love with. He says that he will forever hold onto her, and cherish her memory.
He uses pieces of her wood to make a harp & bow, & his love for her, never grows old.
