Home of the Students
Equality spends time at the Home of the Students for 10 years until he reaches the age of 15. The Home of the Students was too easy for equality so he had gotten punished more than others. -
Job Day
This is the day where all students were given a job that they would have to work the rest of their lives. Equality wished to be a scholar, but in return, the Council of Vocations had declared him street sweeper! -
Discovery of tunnel
Equality and International had found a tunnel that leads underground. This is a very important event in the book. It was left from the unmentionable times. -
Leaving City Theatre
Every night, Equality would escape the city theatre and go down into his tunnel to experiment and build different things. -
Meets The Golden One
Equality meets Liberty 5-3000 or "The Golden One". He goes by the fields every day and looks at her. They then finally meet up and stare into each others eyes. Then they finally talk to one another. -
Returns Home Late
Equality is inventing the lightbulb at the time and he is going to show the House Of Scholars. He then didn't know what time it was and returned home late to the Home Of The Streetsweepers. -
Into the Forest
Equality goes into the forest and goes to sleep huddled around his lightbulb. He then wakes up the next day and notices somebody was following him. He then looks back and realizes it's the golden one. He is thankful and they travel very far into the forest until they find a home from the unmentionable times. -
Palace of Corrective Detention
Equality showed up late to his home and was sent to the palace of corrective detention until he told the others where he was and why he was late to his home. He then planned to sneak out because he had to show the House of Scholars his new invention, the lightbulb. So he escaped and went down into the tunnel, got his invention, and went to the Home of the Scholars. -
House of Scholars
Equality presents his invention, the lightbulb, to the House of the Scholars. The scholars rejected his idea because only they could come up with new inventions and there was a reason why they were the scholars and not the steetsweeper. They then tried to destroy the invention but Equality ran away into the forest where nobody else would go. -
Living in the House
They discovered the miraculous house and found a lot of information and clothes and invenions around it. They then plotted to build more houses like it and make children and make a society that could think on their own and not together. They could have their own ego.
