Anne's Childhood
Was born in feeding hills, massachussets. She was the oldest daughter of the her four brothers and sisters. Two of wich died when the were kids. When Anne was five child got an eye sickness and was left half blind. When Anne was eight her mother died. She was left with her drunk father. Two years later she and her brother went to a poor house were she had tons of people with mentel disabilities. Six months later her brother died. -
Anne's days of learning.
She started her learning when there was a inspecton on the orphnanege she threw herself in front of the pearson and asked if she could go to a school.
At age 14 she was very behind in school. She was also humiliated of he lack of social skills. LIke she never owned a comb or even were a night gowm. -
Anne's days of teaching
In 1887 Anne acapted to be teacher of Hellen keller. Before she went to teach Hellen she studdied about the deaf and the blind. Before that she got eye surgery wich partictaly restord her sight. When she met Hellen Keller she found out that she was a very spoiled shild, so she had to teach her to have respect for people. After that she finely started to teach her sign language. Anne had a major breakthrough when she spelled in the words w-a-t-e-r. This is when she fond out what she was doing. -
The reason why Anne should be celabrated
She should be picked because she was socially abused by her father and lived through that. She was trumatized at an orphanege. She even refused to get mared so it wouldn't get in the of her teaching wouldn't get in the way. Now that takes some willpower. -
