The Battle of Bunker Hill was one of the first battles in the American revolution and it really set off the war. Really the British won the battle but the Americans held their own and only lost because they ran out of gun powder. It gave the Americans confidence to really try to win the war. This amazing sea battle angered the British and inspired the Americans because Jones had just destroyed a boat from one of the best navies in the world. The battle inspired the Americans and caused them to fight even harder for their independence. -
Battle of Camden
The Battle of Camden was one of the first battles fought by the new southern army. General Horatio gates was the commander of that army but he made many tactical errors and eventually ran and left his troops alone in battle. He ran on his horse away and he was court marshaled. This battle was the last major battle in the american revolution.
