    The Stamp act of 1765 was a law passed on by British government requiring colonist to pay taxes for every piece of printed paper they used. Including newspapers, and, or legal documents.

    The Sons of Liberty was a group establish under the belief of opposing the taxation without representation act, and the British rule all together. they were mostly known for their violence and protest/boycotts against British officers and any position of power in the British rule.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre

    A lethal confrontation between a group of British soldiers and American colonists. It started as a street brawl but then escalated as soldiers lined up like a firing squad, took aim, and fired. Killing 5 colonists and injuring many others despite orders not to fire. In the aftermath the soldiers were charged with murder of the 5 colonists and attempt of murder with the others.

    The Boston tea party was a crucial point in history leading up to the American Revolutionary war. The reason for the tea tossing was cause of taxation without representation. they were angered by the taxes imposed by the British parliament.

    Being the first military contact of the revolutionary war, the British were cocky and tried seizing weapons and ammo of the colonists, but were shut down start the battle.

    The Battle of Bunker Hill was a critical wake up call for the British as they started with more soldiers near the beginning but lots more then 50%of those same soldiers before the Americans lost at least 10% of there arms, in the end the Americans were forced to retreat due to lack of ammo.

    Although is wasn't adopted until March 1, 1781. it was actually finish in draft in November 15, 1777. The Articles of Confederation made a "league of friendship" among the 13 states with a not so strong central government.

    The Battle of Yorktown was a siege taking place during the American Revolutionary war. The British army under lord Cornwallis surrendered in Yorktown Virginia leading to the end of a major land battle. Eventually leading to peace negotiations.

    Also known as the Connecticut compromise, was a crucial agreement resolving the conflict between bigger and smaller state. The solution was to have each state have equal representation with to senates per state, and based on population.

    The presidents, Washington; sent copies of the 12 amendments adopted by congress to the states that were made at the time. 3/4 of the states ratified 10 of the amendments forever now known as The Bill of Rights.
