  • Britain and The 13 Colonies

    The United Kingdom had began existing this year, because they had started to fight for what they had wanted as in land.
  • Seven Years War (The French & Indian War)

    Seven Years War (The French & Indian War)
    The British and the French had been fighting over two lands of which were in North America. The two lands were waterways of Gulf of St. Lawrence and Ohio RIver Valley.
  • French and British go to War

    The French and the British went into war. The french started the war out strong and was defeating the British. Soon The British was defeating the French and they were winning and did infact win that war.
  • Proclamation of 1763

    This law was made by King George, the law stated that colinists couldnt move west and especially not over the Appalachian Mountains.
  • Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act was when you had to pay tax for anything paper related. Like if you wanted to print paper out you would need to pay tax for just that one paper.
  • NYC meeting about Stamp Act

    The colonies that had taken part of the meeting in New York City had all made a decision that they they couldnt tax the colonies. They couldnt tax them because they didnt have any representation.
  • Townsend Act

    The British paased the Townsend Act which then placed taxes on multiple things like paper, tea, and paint. Many people didnt like this Act and refused to get anything in England because of the taxes.
  • Declaration of Independence

    This act was set as an act of telling that the state was independent and no longer part of the British Empire. It was also adopted by the Continental Congress. The colonies that were the ones that had been newly independent were 13.
  • Treaty of Alliance

    In this treaty the French had given The United States recognition. In otherwords they had given them a treaty of peace and they both needed to sign it which they did.
  • Treaty of Paris

    Thia treaty ended the American Revolutionary War. The treaty had also let Americans have control over western territory.
