  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party is when the Sons of Liberty organized a plan to sneak on to 3 tea boats and get rid of 342 chest of tea. I chose this event because they thought this was the best way to settle the tax debate. And they thought this would help Britain see how much the colonist hated the taxation without representation. It was an important rebel act.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    Battle of Bunker Hill
The Battle of Bunker Hill is when General Howe marched up the hill with 2,200 troops and Colonel William Prescott marched up with his troops. I chose this event because the British finally made it to the top the Americans shot them back. But the British marched back up. The British won but lost more men then the militia did. This was an important even for the Americans because it boosted their morale.
  • War at Sea

    War at Sea
Britain controled the Atlantic trade routes. So there was no way for the Americans to defeat the British army. So they sent in privateers to take British merchant ships. And they ended up takeing hundreds of British merchant ships buy the end of the war. I chose this event becuase it was a huge obstical for the Americans.
  • Saratoga

    Saratoga
Burgoyne’s army went slowly to Alabany. They ran into the Continental Army and they started fighting there was another fight and buy the end the Americans were able to force the British to retreat. This was considered the turning point of the war for the Americans. I chose this event because it was the turning point of the war whitch means they were starting to win.
