Martin Luther King Jr. was an advocate for people’s rights, especially those of color. Ames Earl Ray ended up wrongly shooting Mr. Luther. Many people of color were upset because they believed their views were somewhat rejected.

Man first landed on the moon. America’s NASA put Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon. The US spent a lot of money to do so. This was a big accomplishment in the space race.

Representatives of the United States, North and South Vietnam, and the Vietcong signed a peace agreement in Paris. This ended America’s military involvement in the Vietnam War.
