Summary- this book is about how this girl Rachel has an older brother and she don't want him to come back to the house. He was expelled from boarding school and has flunked the 9th grade 3 times. She survives with her 2 best friends that she can tell them anything. -
Chapter 4- Pages 25- 44
Chapers 4-6 was about how her brother came home from boarding school. Her and her sister don't like him staying there because he is sucking up to his parents and getting his sisters in trouble. Also they went to go visit there grandma in the nursing home and their grandma doesn't remember the girls in the family she just remembers Charles (the brother). -
Chapter 6- Pages 44-60
Rachel was talking to her friends and telling them about her life with Charles and her friends like Charles so Rachel went off on them and said that they were stupid to think of him that way and her friends said that she needed help. Rachels friends told her to see a concinaler, at school she got a pass to the office and she thought it was to talk about her life and at home problems. When she got down to the offfice the Teacher was telling her that she would be a great Natural Leader. -
Chapter 8- 10 Pages 61- 84
In this section of the book Rachel is getting upset that Charles will be in her life FOREVER, When she invites her friend over her friend is all over Charles and it seems that Charles likes her friend and Rachel doesn't like that. When Rachel sees that Charles has a tutor that is cute she begins to crush on him she thinks that this will get Charles jealous and to back off her friend. -
Chapter 10- 14 Pages 85-114
Rachels cousin comes into Rachels hopuse with her baby and asks if she can talk to her mother. Tarren the cousin is always coming to her mom and she saying she has a problem in her life. Rachel's mom is a judge now so she working a lot more stressed. Rachels sister has a job and is always bragging that she has job. Also Charles wants to change his last name from the rest of family to his ancestors last name to be cool. -
Chapter 14-16 Pages115-131
Charles had a party at their house while their parents weren't home. During the party Rachel went to tell him and his friends that the music was to loud and to turn it down. While she was down there she saw Dana the girl she don't like and saw the guy she really liked Jeremy Dragon. After she told them to turn it lower Jeremy followed her top her room and was talking to her she never thought that she would get a chance with him. Also Charles's tutor likes Rachel and they flirt but its a secret. -
Chapter 16-18 Pages 132-149
Rachel won the major debate against other schools. Rachel got sent down to the office she thought she was in trouble but she got the honor to go the college and do math science. Rachel turned down the offer because she had to much work going on her life with charles being home and other school activites. -
Chapter 18-22 Pages 150- 183
Rachel and her family are going to family counciling after the fight between Charles and the rest of her family. After all of that they want to go on a family trip to this history place. Rachel can't take the car so she has to take the train she get to were she wants to be. Charles came along and so did his tutor Rachel was very happy cause Paul the tutor was taking her a college concert with him. -
Chapter 22-24 Pages 184- 196
At the concert Paul and Rachel ran into Tarren. Paul hit it off so Rachel was pretty mad that Paul was interested in Tarren instead of her. Tha night Jeremy came over to her house as they went for a walk Jeremy kissed her. In the end of the book the family came togther Rachel has Jeremy, Jessica is working her dream job, Tarren is with Paul, Charles is going to highschool in his real grade. Everyone is happy.
