Apollo 11 was the first space manned mission to the moon.The mission of the Apollo 11 was to get a manned lunar landing and return to earth safely.The Astronauts on board were Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.The spacecraft launched at Cape Kennedy on July 16 1969 and after 102 hours and 45 minutes the Apollo 11 successfully landed on the moon.

The two Rovers that landed on mars were called Spirit and Opportunity.The rovers were only supposed to work for 90 days but ended working for years.Their mission was to explore Mars and discover new information.The two rovers were highly successful and discovered that mars use to have a lot of water by characterizing ranges of rocks and soils.

Curiosity
The mission of the Curiosity rover is to see if the Mars is a good planet for humans to live on.The rover is the size of a small SUV 9 feet long and 7 feet high.Curiosity has been on mars for 2,000 Mars days also known as sols.In the 2,000 sols on mars the rover has been to the crater called gale to crater Aeolis Mons.
