Min Yoon-gi (hangul: 민윤기?; Daegu, march 9th,1993) -
The Beginning of a Star
He started to take an interest in music in fifth grade after seeing a Stony Skunk performance on television, and that's how he started listening to hip-hop groups like Epik High.8 In the second year of middle school, he acted for the first time on a stage playing the theme "Go Back" of the Dynamic Duo group. At the age of thirteen he began to learn to use MIDI technology and to write his own songs. -
The D-Town Star
At age seventeen and thanks to a mentor, he joined an underground rap group called D-Town.
In an interview with the magazine Grazia, he said: "When I worked in the studio, I composed songs or made rhythms and even sold them. Then I started rapping and doing performances naturally. While working there it was difficult to pay for food or transportation. [...] But even though it was difficult, I wanted to make music, so I endured it ». -
The Decisive Moment
In 2010 Suga participated in the Hit It auditions carried out by Big Hit Entertainment. He was second in the competition that was held and became part of the company on November 7, 2010.10 8 Despite having entered Big Hit as a composer on June 13, 2013 he ended up debuting with the BTS group as a rapper with the simple 2 Cool 4 Scool. -
Family, SUGA and Agust D & DT
Suga confessed that his older brother had played an important role in his music career as the only member of his family who had supported him when he decided to audition for Big Hit. He even wrote the song "Never Mind" included On the album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2 on the contempt of his family for his desire to become a musician, the pseudonym Agust D comes from "DT Suga" in reverse, the name he used when he started writing lyrics , where «DT» means «Daegu Town». -
Agust D, The Rap God
In July 2016 it was announced that Suga would launch its first mixtape. The album, titled Agust D, was released on August 16, 2016 for free through music services.The mixtape was recorded in the period between 2011 and 2016. Suga created more than sixty songs between 2014 and 2016, that amounted to eighty counting collaborations and finally published topics. He expressed the difficulty of creating that kind of rhythms and lyrics for BTS and that as Agust D could express himself freely. -

Currently he continues producing, creating and directing musical projects which have led him to win great prizes as "The best musical producer of the year" in 2017 in South Korea.
His path, full of honorably won battles and efforts that were worth everything, make a star the size of Min Yoongi, continue to shine alongside his teammates, who along with him, continue to lead the great way of music.
