Jackie Robinson breaks the barrier of color by becoming a member of the Dodgers; he is the forst African American to be on a sports team. -
Harriet Tubman
Harriet Tubman refused to give up her bus seat to a white man, and she was arrested. This sparked the year long bus boycott from African Americans.
