Probably the biggest invention in the food industry came in 1862 when scientists were able destroy yeast within certain foods, making it able to be edible for much longer than before. This led to the increased ability to create a larger range of foods because people could now preserve them.

The creation of GMOs in the world led to a monumental step forward the food industry. Short after GMOs were declared edible for humanity, the farming landscape across the country turned from fresh food into GMOs to grow bigger, faster, and tastier.

The introduction to modern farming equipment changed the farming scene, and therefor the food industry forever. Food production is now at an all-time high and fields continue to grow with more and more fields able to be reaped quicker.
