The servant approaches them and asks them to read the list and they find out they are not invited.

They come up with a plan. Romeo and Benvolio are going to the party as anonymous people and they will not be recognized because of their masks.

Capulet gets defensive of his daughter and tries to explain to Paris that he wants to wait 2 more summers before she gets married because she is so young.

Romeo and Benvolio get custom masks made for the party and for their disguise.

Benvolio keeps making fun of Romeo because of his love for Juliet throughout the party.

Romeo is extremely nervous about seeing Juliet and Mercutio makes fun of him throughout the party
