At the start of the the French and Indian war, The British forced the Acadians to take an oath of allegiance saying they have to fight against the French.

British governor and Nova Scotia Council decided to begin Expulsion and wrecked and Burned down houses of the Acadians forcing them to leave to other areas including Europe as well as some Acadians did not survive their escape.

Although the Expulsion didn't end in 1755, a few years later the British rounded up the Acadians in Prince Edward Island retook Louise berg and sent over 3,000 Acadians to France.
