Research Arslaan
I have researched three thriller movie openings; The Butterfly Effect, Gone Girl and Fight Club. Our group have done our planning using storyboards, mind maps including all details for the film. Rough script draft made. -

Research Mitchell
I have researched three thriller movie openings; Serpico, Vertigo and The Silence of the Lambs. Our group have done our planning using storyboards, mind maps including all details for the film. Rough script draft made. -
Filming - Part 1
The two locations we used to film were an abandoned warehouse and a bathroom. It took us approximately four hours to film. Arslaan, Rhia and Mitchell set up the location and where we would film in the warehouse. Arslaan and Elliott got dressed for their roles. Annie did the makeup for Elliott. -
Filming - Part 2
After preparing the location we shot the first scenes which take up the majority of the film opening. This part took about two hours to film. We then relocated to Elliott’s bathroom to film the final scene, this took about 15 minutes. -
Editing
Editing took place straight after filming. We used Premiere Pro to edit. We used one drive to import the clips and we complied the clips together in a chronological order. Then we added the audio which was ‘Arthur Rosebery Spread A Little Happiness’ which was dubbed on top of the opening credits and throughout the first thirty seconds of the opening scene. -

Our secn draf was completed on the 8th of March, with better audio and shorter opening credits.
