  • the boston massacre

    the massacre was when a bunch of british soldiers killed five people. this was when people really started thinking about a revolution

  • the boston tea party

    the british put a high tax on tea and the people felt cheated so they revolted. this was really the first big revolt before the revoution.

  • the vattle of lexington and concord

    this was the first battle of the revolution.it started the war between britain and america.

  • battle of bunker hill

    this battle was when the fighting really started. the colonists lost but only because there were fewer of them. they also killed many british soldiers.

  • the declaration of independence

    the colonistists finnally declared there liberty from the king.

  • crossing the delaware

    george washington crossed the delaware to catch the british off gaurd this caused 900 britians to surrender without a single shot fired. this caused the british to turn to the south.

  • the surrender at yorktown

    george washington caught the british off gaurd again. this major defeat forced 8000 british soldiers to go home.

  • the treaty of paris

    the war in america officialy ended and we became a free country.
