This was the motorola dynaTAC 8000x. This advanced the evolution of cell phones BIGTIME. This phone was used for cars and is very wide. This was a very new version of the cell phone. -

Bigger advancement. First TRULY portable phone. Before this, phones were installed in cars. This phone advanced technology hugely and was a big improvement. -

First digital hand sized phone. This phone was long but it was very portable and skinnier than other phones on the market at this time. Old phones were very useful then. -

First PDA/Phone combo. This phone brought new technology to the table like turkey on thanksgiving. This phone could be used for many things and was like the "blackberry" or "droid" of this time. -

First fliphone, also first display screen. This phone was the first flipphone and it protected the screen much better than other phones and was ALOT smaller. Older phones didnt have the size like this one. -

Very Light phone. This phone brought back oldschool when they brought back a "no flip" style. Great phone for its time and loved by many customers. -

Loved for customizable design, but hated for screen fade. Smaller, different style phone than before. This phone was hated for the lack of screen light. -
Ericsson R380

Black and white touchscreen covered by flip. This was the first version of the Ericsson and it had a totally different style. There was a phone on both sides. One touchscreen and one reguler. People liked this phone because they thought it brought good technology and varity. -

Full QWERTY keyboard and much music can be stored. Look at this thing. It looks like you want to throw it out the window. This phone is very odd. Screen in the middle and a QWERTY style on both sides of the screen. -

First nokia phone to bring GPRS internet. This phone was unique because it has a neat style with the color and location of the keypad. This is an improved style of the older Nokia that had lack of screen light. -
Motorola Razor V3

VERY skinny phone. Set the tempo for slim phones. This phone was a whole new world. It was the skinniest phone to date and had fast service for its time. This phone brought back the flip style and its VERY skinny. -
Blackberry Storm

Designed to be competetor with iphone and other smartphones. Blackberry was "the phone" in 2008 but failed to hold its name when many customers brought it back to verizon with broken screens. This phone may look cool, but isnt very good -
Sidekick LX 2009

Improved versions of older sidekick provides support for social networking. The sidekick was a godly phone and this WAS "the phone", Everyone wanted this phone for the cool way it flipped up. I think it was very good and very good technology.
