The Liberation of Paris was the last battle of the Campaign for Normandy. There was a victory parade afterwards and the aftermath was Germany surrendering. -

The Battle of Iwo Jima was when the US caputered iwo jima from the Japanese. 18,000 were present to fight but 34 were captured. -

Franklin D. Roosevelt was our 32nd president and died of polio while on vacation with his family. but he was able to convice many people that he was getting better. -

The death of Adolf Hitler was suicide by gunshot and cyne poisoning. His death was in berlin at the time and if he would have led his army he might have won. -

VE Day is when the armed forces of Nazi Germany had surrendered to Europe. The date was May 8th 1945 and the celebrations were very exciting and busy. -
Bomb Dropping on Nagasaki
Th e name of the bomb that was dropped on nagasaki was called Fat Boy. The bomb had killed roughly 80,000 people and many people got radiation sickness. -

The VJ Day was when Japan had surrendered in the afternoon of August 15th. There were celebrations on the Tokyo Bay.
