Carrie was born......in Checota, Oaklahoma on a farm with lots of animals. She decided to become a vegitarian at a young age because she couldn't stand the thought of her pets being killed. -

Carrie went to Nashville, TN to make a professional recording at a young age and sent the CD's to radio stations but was denied. This was a big disappointment to Carrie and her family on the bright side she didn't give up her dream -
Graduation Night
On Carrie's graduation night she was playing softball and got a black eye. She had to make a big speech that night and she did just as planned. She did it as if nothing had happened. -
College Reputation
In college Carrie earned the reputation of a very responsible young girl with a great personality. This would definately help her in the future. -
Seeing into the future????
Simon Cowell made the prediction that Carrie would be the most selling artist that Idol would ever see. -
Homesick!
Carrie was often homesick during the competition. She especially missed her pets and family. She had never been so far away from her home in Checota. -

Carrie was hesitant in trying out for American Idol because she was afraid that Simon Cowell wouldn't like her. It turns out that he did and he became one of her top supporters during her time on the show. -
Odd Feeling
During her time on American Idol Carrie felt like she didn't fit in. She said that she felt odd and way out of place during the show. This feeling would go away over time. -
Wedding Plans
Carrie says that after she gets married she wants to go back to Oaklahoma to raise her kids. She says that it will always be her home.
