A agreement stating that Boston, from January of 1769 to January 1770, Imports to and from great britan would be almost non-existant.
A Riot in boston throws anything they can at british troops, with orders not to fire. a redcoat then hit a colonist, and the troops then shot at the colonists, killing three and wounding 8 others.
The Tea Act
In fact, this act did not involve raising taxes on tea. It only stated that the tea of the east india company would be shipped directly to the colonies and sold at bargain prices. the founding fathers thought that it was a good way to rally the colonists.
Boston Tea Party
The tea act was in fact an indirect attempt to get the colonies to settle on arguments about taxes, which boston easily saw through. the enraged colonists than dressed as indians and raided a british cargo ship, dumping thousands of dollars worth of tea into the harbor.
The intolerable acts
a series of actions that forced the revolutionary war on both sides.
