The Cold War was started because the U.S. didn't like they was the soviets were treating Germany when it had been split into 4 different parts. They didn't like that the soviets were communists. The Cold War was a fight between communism (soviets) and capitalism.

4 planes were hijacked but only 3 made it to their destination. One went in to the north tower of the twin towers and another went into the south tower. The 3rd went into the Pentagon. The 4th plane lost control and crashed into a field only 15 minutes from the Capital. This changed the way that people in the United States travel. 9/11 is the reason we and our bags are searched and why we are only allowed to bring certain items with you.
