Why Did William Bradford leave Holland for America, when he could have continued to have the congregation there? I think William Bradford set sail for America because he was tired of the same thing in the same place. Or perhaps it is the fact that he was still getting oppressed there in Holland. Overall, i think he just wanted to start something all his own. -
Mary Rowlandon Is Captured by Natives
Why couldn't Mary Rowlandson try and escape from the Natives? I think she couldn't escape because she was held captive for so long, her mindset was that she flatout couldn't escape. If this is so, her mindset was probably developed by a past action that she tried but didnt work. I think she had been held captive for so long that she even tried to get the aproval of the natives by doing things like preparing food for them.
