    After abolishing slavery they need an amendment that gave people who were born or naturalized in the U.S. citizenship . and equal protection under the law also people who where ex slaves.

This was a violation of his 14th Amendment Due Process clause which is applying the key part of the Bill of Rights saying he should be treated equally until proven guilty.

    Bakke sued the University of California for violating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Fourteenth Amendment Equal Protection clause. He was denied twice at the University even though he had better tests, Gpa, and benchmark scores were higher than some of the people accepted. He believe that it was racially wrong in the quota system.

    Harwick was performing private, consensual sodomy and was arrested for violating the Georga Sodomy Statute. He sued Georgia for the Sodomy Statute violating the constitution. A 5-4 decision was shown that a Gay person would not be protected by the constitution if performing sodomy. In 2003 the case of Larence vs. Texas it was shown that it's the fundamental right of a gay adult to perform private sexual activity.
