In New York, Ginny goes to the Forth Noodle Penthouse to receive the thirteen envelopes from one of Aunt Peg's old friends. -
Plane
Ginny follows the first two envelopes by getting on a plane going to London. -
Richard
When she arrives in London, Ginny goes to live with Peg's old roommate Richard. She gets Peg's ATM card there which is how she will be able to afford the trip. -
Benefactor
Ginny is told in the third letter to go find an artist of any kind, and become a mysterios benefactor to that person. -
Starbucks
Ginnt finds Keith, a college student that performs in and writes both plays and musicals. She watches Starbucks: The Muiscal. -
Tickets
Ginny buys out two of the Starbucks: The Musical showings, suprising Keith. -

Ginny become sfriends with Keith and donates 140 pounds for his shows. -
Mari Adams
Ginny has to go meet Aunt Peg's idol, the painter Mari Adams in Edinburgh. She decides to take Keith with her. -
Lion
They met Mariand she gav Ginny a temporary tattoo of a lion on the shoulder and back. -
Godzilla
On the way back to London, Keith gave Ginny a tiny windup Godzilla toy that he took from Mari's house. Ginny got extremely mad at him, they had a fight, and Keith decides to take a seperate bus to grt away from Ginny. -
Temple
In the fifth letter, Ginny was asked to go visit the temple, in Rome, the the Vestal Virgins in it. -
Roman Boy
The sixth letter told Ginny to go on a date with a Roman boy. She went out with a boy named Beppe for some coffee and left when she found out how rude he was. -
Paris
The seventh letter had Ginny go to Paris on a night train. Then she had to go to Louvre to open the next envelope. -
Cafe
Ginny is aked to go try and find the cafe that Peg redecorated while staying in Paris, in the eighth letter. -
The Little Dogs
Ginny found the cafe, which turned out to be called The Little Dogs. -
Cemetary
When Ginny left the cafe and arrived at her hotel, she found Keith. They went and visited a persian cemetary. They got kicked out by a police officer because it was too late to be at the cemetary. -
Knapps
Ginyy has to go ask Piet (who works at an art museum) about The Night Watch. She was told to do that in the ninth letter. To do that she stays in a hotel that is in the Knapp's house. They take her many different places. -
The Night Watch
When Ginny meets Piet she asks him about The Night Watch and he says that he doesn't really think about it. -
Houseboat
Ginny leaves the Knapp's house and opens the tenth envelope. It tells her to go on a plane to Copenhagen. There, she meets Knud who live in a houseboatand takes her (in the houseboat) to see the sun shinning over buildings at midnight because that was why Aunt Peg went there. -
Hippo's
When she left there, she went and stayed at a hotel called Hippo's where she met Emmett, Bennett, Carrie, and Nigel. Together they followed the eleventhletter telling them to get on a boat going to Greece. -
Cancer
While on the boat ride there, she read the twelfth letter and Ginny found out that Aunt Peg was in love with Richard and he was the one who took care of her when she had cancer. -
Stolen
When they arrived in Greece, Ginny and Carrie decided to go swimming in the ocean while the other slept. When they were done swimming they found that all of their stuff was stolen, except for Ginny's passport and the ATM card. The thirteenth letter was gone. -
Uncle Richard
Ginny leaves her friends and goes back to London to stay with Richard. When she gets there he tells her that he and Peg were married, which Ginny never knew. She gets angry and goes to stay with Keith. -
Paintings
The next day, Ginny went back to see Richard at Harrods (where he worked). There she went to Aunt Peg's old secret art studio, and found her old paintings that Aunt Peg wanted Ginny to auction off. -
Auction
Aman named Cecil auctioned off her paintings and in total made $133,000, which Ginny split with Richard. Then Ginny goes back home to America.
