  • Mar 6, 1500

    Thales discovery

What Thales did was he rubbed a piece of amber with some cloth and the amber could attraced small objects.
  • Columbo

What Columbo did was he made a chart of items that lose thier electrons easily.
  • Benjamin Franklin

    Benjamin Franklin
Ben had the smart idea on how to find out if lightning was a form of electricity. What he did was he made a kite and put a key at the end of it. He flew the kite during a thunder storm and his ite was struck by lightning. He then put his hand close to the key and he got shocked. Therefore he prouved that lightning is a form of electricity.
  • Benjamin Franklin some experiments

    Benjamin Franklin some experiments
Benjamin made an electrical battery, killed a fowl and roasted it upon a spit turned by electricity, sent a current through water to ignite alcohol, ignited gunpowder, and charged glasses of wine so that the drinkers received shocks.
  • Galvani

    Galvani
While cutting a frog leg, Galvani's steel scalpel touched a brass hook that was holding the leg in place. The leg twitched. Further experiments confirmed this effect, and Galvani was convinced that he was seeing the effects of what he called animal electricity, the life force within the muscles of the frog.
  • Voltic Pile

    Voltic Pile
Basically, Volta’s pile was a messy stack (pile) of discs made of two types of metal - one silver, the other zinc. The discs were separated from each other by a piece of cloth or cardboard that had been soaked in salt water (brine). Volta found that this wet stack of “dissimilar metals” created a small electric current, and this current could be drawn off through wires and used for experiments. However, a pile could generate only a small voltage of 1-2 volts.
  • Oersted's eperiment

    Oersted's eperiment
What Oersted did is that he discovered electro magnetism. How? Well first thing he did was he got a compass waited till it was facing north then he took a battery and a wire. He attached the wire to the battery and put the wire over the compass and the pointer of the compass followed the wire.
  • Ben Franklin Tibbetts

•Compound Steam Engine Invented by Benjamin Franklin Tibbetts
  • Alex Grahm Bell

    Alex Grahm Bell
Alex created the telephone. How? Well his experiment was that he could send a message to his fellow scientist Thomas Edison as an electrical transmission. It had worked although it took time for the message to get to Thomas.
  • Thomas Ahearn

•Electric Cooking Range Thomas Ahearn invented the first in 1882
  • Alexander Graham Bell & Emile Berliner

•Gramophone Co-invented by Alexander Graham Bell & Emile Berliner
  • Thomas Ahearn

•Electric Car Heater Thomas Ahearn invented the first electric car heater
  • Reginald A. Fessenden

•Light Bulb Leads Leads made of nickel & iron alloy were invented by Reginald A. Fessenden
  • Reginald A. Fessenden

•Fathometer An early form of sonar invented by Reginald A. Fessenden
  • Edward Samuel Rogers

Edward in vented the AC radio tube. which led him to the Rogers communications buisness.
