This was an act to restrict the amount of immigrants coming into the country. It limited it to 2% of people from that country already in the United States. -

He flew on his own over the Atlantic Ocean. His trip was about 3600 miles. -

No movie before this had dialouge. The only previous sounds in motion pictures was music. -

Hoover was the 31st president. He was blamed for the Great Depression. -
The Stock Market Crash
Huge amounts of people sold their stocks, which then caused the stock market to crash. America was in the Great Depression until World War Two
