But Germany's gornverment re-established Luftwaff, and by 1940 it was the largest and most formidable air force in the world.

    Reasons why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor:
    •Easier for them to take conquer other countries because of the Great Depression in WWII
    •Could stop the US from sending military weapons to Great Britain or Solvent Union
    •Could show strength and they shouldn't be made fun of in WWII
    It was a failure because they missed the oil tanks and when they bombed the 8 warships there weren't any aircraft on them; the US was able to fight in WWII. December 7, 1941

Most of the American Japanese were next to the beach and Warships, and US thought that the American Japanese would let Japantake over there. So America made Interment camps and said to the American Japanese are free to go there, but American Japanese didn't want to go. About a month later FDR signed a paper and all soliders forced the American Japanese to go.

In the attack America got from their position; left behind most of their weapons. More than 1,000 American soldiers were killed; 100 were prisoners.

American forces invaded the island on February 19, 1945, and the Battle of Iwo Jima lasted for five weeks. In some of the biggest fighting of World War II, and about 21,000 Japanese forces on the island were killed, and almost 7,000 Marines.

The Russians took about 2million prisoners in that time, just before and after the German surrender.While, more than 13,000 British were released; sent to Great Britain.

    The Allied power made a huge Victory and history
    The Allie power tricked Hitler from think that the Allie power were aiming for other places. The Allie power started from Gold, Juno, Sword, Utah, and Omaha, then took over most of France back. Then later on they went to Germany and then on May 8, 1945 the Germany surrendered and Hitler committed suicide a week earlier, on April 30 1945.

Japan was fighting and didn't surrender, the US decided to send a bomb to Hiroshima called "little boy" and it exploded 2,000 feet above Hiroshima in a blast equal to 12-15,000 tons of TNT, their next target was Nagasaki, and they send a bomb called "fat man" it was 1,650 feet above the city and 22,000 tons of TNT; the killed estimated between was 60,000-80,000.
