Because of Pearl Harbor people feared Japanese Americans. They were considered a threat. Japanese Americans were put in relocation camps that were protected by the military. -
The Battle of Midway
Japan attacks Midway Island which is home to an American airfield. After having 322+ aircrafts destroyed the Japanese retreat. -
The Battle of Stalingrad part 1.
Germans control 90% of the city. Soviet Union had a counter attack. They surrounded around the outside trapping the Germans in. Hitler refused to retreat even though the supply's were cut off. -
The Battle of Stalingrad part 2
The city is 99% destroyed, the 90,000 frostbitten staved German soldiers surrender. -
The invasion of Italy
Churchill and Roosevelt decided to attack Italy. The Allies conquered Sicily from German and Italian troops. Mussolini lost power after the attack. -

The Allie forces were attacking Germany from the west and Soviet attacking from the east. Germany's tanks pushed Allie lines but they pushed backing forcing Germany to surrender -

American Marines go to Okinawa to end the battle. This battle is one of the bloodiest. The Japanese lost over 100,000 troops and American troops lost 12,000 -
V-E day
This day signifys the victory Europe had won. The 6 year war in Europe was finally over. -
D-Day
The Allies attacked Germany on Normandy beaches. 27,000+ people died that day. -
