After the Battle of Midway, the U.S. began making extreme advances on not only the war, but war technology. They dropped the second and third atomic bombs ever made(the first was was the Trinity test bomb the U.S. had made) on Hirshoma and Nagasaki, Japan. This also came with Germany and Japan surrendering and the war finishing.
