    The Japanese has started their exspanison into Eastern Asia and China in the late 1930’s. Brutal attacks on China were devastating for the country, and the troops did not hold back. The Japanese forced had continued to expand until the Axis powers came and forced the Japanese back. They withdrew their forces and it was the end of the invasion. This happened because the Japanese wanted to expand their forces into new places.

    Germany’s Invasion on Poland
    The Germans invaded Poland on the border in which Germany controlled. Aircrafts, fighter plans, and warships were involved in the Baltic Sea. Hitler tried to convince everyone that it was a defensive act, yet no one else believed that. This act was the leading cause of world war 2, when Poland declared war on Germany in September of 1939.

    The germnan forces first starte using blitzkrieg in their attack on Poland. But the first successful attempt was when they had attacked Belgium, the Netherlands, and France in 1940. Blitzkrieg is a form of “lightning war” where the attacking forces would invade and use concentrated firepower to detonate one area at a time.

    Operation Barbarossa was a code for an invasion from Germany into Russia on the Soviet’s. The Germans had most definitely underestimated their opponent when they came back at the Germans with a very skilled army. This was the biggest planned military invasion of World War Two. It was also a major turning point in the war because Nazi germany had lost many soldiers and supplies, losing this battle was a huge deficiency for the Germans.

    The United States had added a base in Hawaii which upset the Japanese, sine they had expanded further into the pacific. This game them the urge to bomb the United States Army base in Hawaii. They bombed it killing many and it excited the anger in the people of the United States. President Woodrow Wilson had finally had enough. The bombing at Pearl Harbor resulted in the United States joining World War II.

    German officials met to decide the “final solution” for the Jews. Hitler has been talking about this for a while now, and working the Jews to death was supposedly taking too long. They had to come up with ideas on what to do. I they finish them all off and kill them? Do they release some since it’s taking lots of time? The “solution” ended up being the gas vans that had come to the camps a month or so after the conference.

    After the United States has surrendered at the Bataan peninsula, the Japanese miitary had taken them in. 75,000 Filipino and American troops were forced to march 65 miles, to a death camp. Many died from the extreme heat and exhaustion. But many were tortured by the Japanese army.

    Only six months after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the United States have defeated the Japanese in the most important naval battle in World War II. The United States were able to crack incredibly difficult codes and counter Japan’s ambush attack. This was a huge turning point in the pacific war.

    The German army began to invade the country of Russia in the city of Stalingrad. It was a strategic area for the Germans to use the river to launch assaults. The stupid to build up defenses around the Germans and a couple of months later the Germans had surrendered. They were many casualties on both sides due to the heat and fighting that had occurred. This defeat was of great humiliation of hitler.

    The Warsaw ghetto uprising began when the German troops had entered the gallows to deport the survivors. The survivors were transported to concentration camps or killed. Jews were murdered, went into hiding, taking two cans, and even hidden by the Germans.

    The British had been bombed by Germany earlier this year in July, and were ready for a counter attack. They had teamed up with the United States and by night Britain had bombed Germany and by day the United States led their raids. This resulted in thousands of causalities in Germany, and lots of destruction in Germany.

    Prior to the invasion of Normandy, D Day, the allies had set up a campaign to distract the sis powers from this invasion. The allies had then invaded on the long stretch of beaches in Normandy. France had been liberated and the Germans had been taken down. This has been known as the “Begining of the end” of the war.

    As the Allied powers and moved across Germany they had encountered many concentration camp prisoners. The Soviets liberated Auschwitz in January 1945. There was much mass murder in the camps and they found thousands of dead people there. The survivors faced a long road to recovery.

    The Germans launch the last major offensive push in the war. They pushed back the us military because of how unaware we were. It ended up creating a “bulge” in the allies frontline. They had pushed back the allied powers and the Americans suffered their second most surrender of troops during this battle.

    This plan was created between the two wars, but had been put away until needed. The Americans had bombed the Germans and this was their plan to end the war with Germany. These bombing were carried out in key areas to disrupt the German military forces.

    This battle was one of two, to get the United States closer to the Japanese mainland for a attack that has been planned for a while. They had a plan to bomb this island in order Tom get its landing strip and airports. After a couple months of naval and air strikes, the United States had finally conquered the Island of Iwo Jima.

The battle had an incredible number of casualties yet despite the number of casualties the United States was still able to conquer the island of Okinawa

    This was a day in which Britain and the United States celebrated the victory in Europe. This was a day including which they had defeated the leaders of Nazi germany. And the German forces had laid down their hands and stopped fighting.
