The Allies feel like a trial run in Dieppe. They were suppose to arrive at night but due to delay the allies were force to land at night. The German spotted the allies far before they arrive, so we the allies arrived, German were they shooting the Allies with machine guns already. -

Canadian were asked to liberating the Netherlands, it was a hard task.German troop had already destroy some port cities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam.Food and other supplies were cut off, and after the allies negotiates with German, on April 28 1945 food and fuel were brought in. Canadian were seen as heros. -
Battle of the Scheldt
Canadian task was to clear the troops from the Scheldt River in Belgium, because the German have control of the river. Canadian spent a few month and take over the river so Allies can bring in supplies though the river. -
