The Treaty of Versailles is signed by Germany and the Allies. The Big Three that attended for there countries were, David Lloyd George from Great Britain, George Clemenceau, France, and Woodrow Wilson from U.S.. The result of this Treaty affected mostly Germany. The Treaty stated that Germany had to give up land and admit they started the war.

On August 18,1920 women were given the right to vote, this is the 19th amendment and is also know as the Susan B. Anthony Amendment. This is beacuse Susan B. Anthony was a famous womans rights leaders and was a strong leader when it came to give women the right to vote.

on August 6,1945 an american b-29 bomber dropped the worlds FIRST atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. This bomb killed 80,000 people immediately. Then on August 9,1945 another B-29 dropped another atomic bomb on Nagasaki killing about 40,000 people. The bombs were named the first bomb was "Little Boy" and the second bomb was named "Fat Man."
