    The start of making peace after WW1.
    Humanitarian Law makes war a less inhumane subject forming a bond for advancing culturally
  • Nuremberg Laws

    Formed tension and hostility between the countries.
    Hitler was now a threat to the cultures of different countries.
  • Soviet Union annex Baltic States

  • Poland ceases to exist

    Hitler conquered the territory for war advantage of size and location.
    Great Britain is more at a disadvantage as territory is lost.
  • "Cash and Carry"

    US made profit to build the country while Europe fought.
    Great Britain gained an arms advantage as they did not have many arms industries.
  • Selective Training Service Act

    Social tension rose as drafts were invented to pull citizens into the war and signified that the US needed all the assistance it could take.
    The US needed assistance as soon as possible as they were abruptly pulled into the war.
  • Tripartite Pact

    Germany, Italy, and Japan confirmed being allies through war. This rises the tension from the US and Europe as war is now unavoidable.
  • Hitler breaks Stalin agreement

    Germany lost an ally and gained an enemy in the war.
    US and GB are at more of an advantage as the SU are now sided with them.
  • Executive Order #8802

    Fair treatment to those of different ethnicity in the defense industry to boost the US support of the war.
    Lessens cultural tension to prevent workers strikes and strive economically and military.
  • Attack on Pearl Harbor

    Japan made an attempt to cripple US military to prevent from interfering in the war.
    US becomes involved and now has knowledge of the goal of the Japanese military and can interfere the plan.

    After the attack on Pearl Harbor, tensions rise and fear drives the country and do not want to take risks of another attack.
    US has high tension between Japan and is now involved.

    Owning France gives Germany more resources for soldiers and land used for protection/not being surrounded to conquer the rest of Europe.

    The court case made the US slightly politically unstable and paranoid for future attacks from Japan.
    Cultural judgement spreads as the Japanese became enemies and Japanese descendants were being sent to interment camps due to fear.

    US managed to cripple the military of the Japanese.
    Japan was a less likely known threat to US military.
  • Atomic Bomb dropped - Nagasaki

    US goal to cripple the military of the Japanese to prevent further battle on the US grounds.
    Protects US military and drives Japan to surrender.

    Economy in the US strives as they agreed to the sale of arms across countries.

    US and Soviet Union joined due to Japans hostility and recent oversea attacks.

    The night of broken glass caused Jews to start fleeing the country and affected the other countries of Europe and the US.
    Signaled other countries that this was the start of a larger movement to start preparing for.

    Goal for Germany and SU was to achieve Lebensraum for war advantage.
    Creation of pacts and military race caused US and Great Britain to be involved.

    Mainly used by the Germans to quickly and easily conquer lands making countries defenseless as the attack was quick moving.
    Low casualties from the Germans as they were protected by air support or heavily armed vehicles.
