    Signed by FDR, this limited/banned ships and merchants from trading with other countries, plunging America into isolationism

    March of Time
    Time Inc. creates an anti-Nazi propaganda-film then releases it in Germany. It is titled: "The March of Time."
  • Hitler Invades Poland

    Hitler Invades Poland
    German forces invade Poland, officially starting a war against nations. The Nazi power is now on the rise.
  • Attack on Pearl Harbor

    Attack on Pearl Harbor
    Japan attacks naval base, Pearl Harbor, in response to getting back at President Roosevelt. However, this operation failed in that regard, bringing America into the world with brand new fury.
  • German's Retreat

    German's Retreat
    The Battle of Stalingrad lasted from August of '42, to Janurary of '43. 250,000 Axis forces are trapped, 200,000 of those men die. The rest surrender. Soviets lose 1,100,000 men.
  • Mussolini's Depart

    Mussolini's Depart
    Mussolini is stripped of his power. He was ordered to be arrested once found. However, German forces help Mussolini through a special forces mission. Later, he is captured. He is shot and hung with his mistress.

    Allies Enter Rome
    The Allies fight for the capital of Italy, liberating it from Axis clutches. This was the first city to fall.
  • D-Day

    D-Day
    The liberation of France from the Nazi powers of Germany. Made sucessful by the Allied Powers.
  • Hello, France

    Hello, France
    Eisenhower lead the invasion for the Normandy Penninula. From there, the Allies would take the 60-mile strip and liberate France from this Axis Powers. This was sucessfully done, through much hardships.
  • FDR WINS... again

    FDR WINS... again
    FDR wins unprecedented 4th term. The only president in history to ever achieve this status. He dies shortly after, though.
  • Death March

    Death March
    65 miles long. The largest U.S surrender in History. Japanese forced Clark Air Force and philippine civilians off the island. It became Jap territory before the United States took it back through a series of island hopping.
  • Battle of the Buldge Begins

    Battle of the Buldge Begins
    The last German offensive battle begins- the Battle of the Buldge. This battle was started in hopes of pushing Allied offensive from France to Belgium. However, this was unsucessful.
  • Battle of the Bulge Finished

    Battle of the Bulge Finished
    A little under a month later, the Allies win the Battle of the Bulge. Although much hardship is felt, morale goes on.
  • From One President to Another

    From One President to Another
    FDR dies suddenly, after being voted in for his 4th term. Vice President Harry Truman takes over. Later, Truman announces bomb to be dropped on Japan.

    Bye-Bye Hitler
    One day after his marriage, Hitler and his partner commit suicide. Along with them followed Hitler's two secretaries, his dog, and his followers.

    Victory Day in Europe (VE Day)
    The offical and unconditional surrender of the Nazi Germans and it's forces. The war was won.
  • Bomb on Japan

    Bomb on Japan
    On August 6, 1945, a bomb called Enola Gay was dropped on the city of Hiroshima. Japan was in a panic, as no telecommunications were able to be had. North of Hiroshima, no one could respond as well. Japan was in devestation as to when they had finally learned what had happened.

    Bomb on Japan pt. 2
    Just 3 days after the attack on Hiroshima, the United States dropped a bomb on Nagasaki. "Little Boy" was dropped, once again, causing more panic. An estimated 40,000 people were killed from this bomb alone. Later, Japan would surrender.

    The declaration of formal surrender by Japan. Finally, the war was over.
