VE Day means "Victory in Europe Day". This day was meant to celebrate or remember when the allies win in europe. This causes Europe/axis powers to finally lay their army down. -

U.S drops atromic bomb(s) in Hiroshima as well as another few in Nagasaki to wipe out Japanese. It is kind of mean because innocent people were killed rather than the people who were actually fighting the U.S. This marks the end of WW2. Some believe it starts the Cold War.
