This was when Germany took over Czechoslovakia and annexed them. Most of the citizens in the Czech was made up of Germans, Adolf Hitler led this.

The Philippines
The Philippines were attacked only nine hours after Pearl Harbor was by Japan. Most of the prisoners that were being held in the Philippines were released and went on a "death march" where hundreds died of disease and malnutrition.

Los Alamos
Los Alamos is a town in New Mexico where an atomic bomb was created and tested. We then later used that atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Although, FDR died and Harry Truman had to decide whether or not to drop the atomic bomb on Japan. This was called the "Manhattan Project".

Japanese Internment Camps
These camps were created by FDR during WWII and they consisted of Japanese people that would be isolated into camps. This was the United States reaction to the bombing on Pearl Harbor, it was known as one of the most violent things the US has done. This effected many Japan lives.

This was a battle between the Soviets and Germans, the soviets attacked from the east and south parts of Berlin while the Germans were in the north. In the end, Adolf Hitler committed suicide and that ended some of the fighting, but there was still arguments between the south west, west, and north west.

The meeting at Potsdam was one of the last meetings held by the three allied presidents. They all agreed on the punishment for war crimes and land boundaries for Germany. The three presidents declared Japan to surrender from World War II.
