    The countries involved are Poland, Germany, The Soviet Union, and The Slovak Republic. The battle took place in Poland and Eastern Germany. The countries who won were the axis powers (Germany and The USSR). This was important because it initiated WW2 in Europe.

    The countries involved were the U.K., Canada, Germany, and Italy. This battle took place in Britains airspace. The U.K. won this battle. This battle is important because it was the Germany’s first major defeat. This was a major turning point for WW2.
  • Operation ‘Barbarossa’

    The countries involved were The Soviet Union and the axis powers. It was located in Eastern Europe, and the axis powers failed to invade the USSR. This operation was important because Germany’s loss led to they’re armed forces to be negatively affected. It also led to increased tension between the allied and axis powers.

    The countries involved were Germany and the USSR. The battle was fought in Moscow, and ended with Russia’s victory. This is important because it was a battle over Russia’s capital, which could’ve led to Hitler taking over Russia. It also ended the operation of Barbarossa.

    The countries involved were the U.S. and Japan. The attack was located at the Pearl Harbor, where most of our naval ships and carriers were. Japans attack was successful at being a surprise, however failed at their mission of bombing our carriers. This attack is important because it prompted the US to declare war on the axis powers. It also depressed our naval forces.

    The countries involved were Australia, America, and Japan. The battle took place in the Coral Sea, and after the battle, both America and Japan declared their victories. Japan won in the case that they destroyed a lot of the U.S’s important ships and carriers, however America won in the case that Japan didn’t achieve their objective. This is important because it was the first battle to fight with air and naval forces, and the first time Japan’s goal was not met in the Pacific.

This is important because it was a turning point for the war between Japan and America. This was because before this battle, Japan had been successfully taking many Pacific Islands, but now, they are realizing that they have a powerful competitor.

This battle is important because it was the first battle that Germany lost on their soil. It also highlighted the potential of Americas manufacturing, and forced Germany to start retreating towards Paris.

    The countries involved were Australia, the US, and Japan. The battle was located in the Leyte Gulf, Philippines, which led to an allied victory. This battle was important because it was the largest naval battle of WW2. Also, the allies obtaining the Leyte Gulf of course led to their loss of the Philippines, which then cut Japan off from the countries that they obtained in Southeast Asia, leaving Japan without some of their resource suppliers.

This battle is important because this is the last major attack Germany will host on the western front during WW2. It was also the largest battle that the U.S had to fight in WW2.

This was important because it was the fiercest and bloodiest fight of the Pacific War. Also, obtaining Iwo Jima, The US had the perfect spot for planes to land and take off with bombs to attack Japan.
