The battle of Atlantic was the 5th most significant battle because this was the first major battle in WW2 that involved sea warefare. -
Battle of Netherlands
The battle of Netherlands is the 6th most significant battle because of Canada's growing independance did not increase much because this battle they lost and that wasn't very benifitial. -
Battle of Dunkirk
The battle of Dunkirk is the least significant for Canada because Canada was not apart of this war and led to no growing independence. -
Battle of Britain
The battle of Britain was the 4th most significant because Candada was used to their full potential by using there RCAF to assist the British and Defeat the Germans in battle of Britain. -
Battle of Hong Kong
The Battle of Hong Kong was the 7th/8 significant because Canada may have taken apart of this battle but this was not that important because Germany was not involved and in my opinion, when Germany is in the battle with Canada, Canada grows more independance from each battle. -
Raid of Dieppe
The raid of Dieppe was the second most significant because it demonstrated the power of the German armies and through this defeat, the allied forces learned that they must support their infantry with air and naval support. -
Italian Campaign
The Italian Campaign is the third most significant because the allies held back Italy which weakened Germany's controll over Western Europe. -
D-Day
D-Day is the most significant battle out of the 8 because this led to the conquering of the 3rd reich.
