Germany invades Poland
The Germans invaded Poland from both the air and land to gain control of another territory. The Nazis were trying to take over as much land to attack all the people who were against the Nazis. This event happened because the Germans had a problem with the non aggression act with Poland. -
The U.S Gave Britain War Supplies.
The U.S provided the British with many war supplies to help defeat the Germans. The U.S wanted to be able to have military bases through Britain to be set up for war in Germany. This act would then help the U.S in the future to make there selves a profit. -
Germany invaded France and Captured Paris
On June, 14, 1940 the Germans were on another mission to take over Paris and France. The Germans were aware that both France and Poland made a Maginot Line to stop the German Nazis. The Nazis over took this line by developing a blitzkrieg tactic to invade France and Paris in a fast way to take over. -
Germany bombed London
On September of 1940 the Luftwaffe set off bombs in London and other of Britain's major cities. Luftwaffe hoped the bombing would ruin the British public moral and bring in the RAF members into battle. The Germans killed over 32,000 civilians and injured more than 87,000. -
Germany invaded Soviet Union
The Germans rushed towards the Soviet Union with millions of soldiers and thousands of tanks. The Germans wanted to stay as being able to exterminate the entire Jewish culture. Germany underestimated the Soviet Union and lost control of the Soviets. -
Japan Bombs Pearl Harbor
On December of 1941 the Japanese planned a surprise attack on the American naval base. The Japanese intended this in order to gain another piece of land for their economic problems. The bombing wounded over 1,000 people and killed nearly 2,400 others. -
Germany Declares War on U.S
Adolf Hitler declared war on the U.S which brang them into European conflict.The Americans were already sinking the Germans U-boats which made Hitler aggressive towards the U.S. The Americans joined to stop the Germans from resuming the unrestricted submarine warfare. -
Battle of Midway
Months after the Japanese attacked the Pearl Harbor the U.S answered back with a naval attack on Japan. The U.S desired to sink the Japanese ships in order to get revenge for their losses. The defeat over Japan then lead the allies into a offensive position. -
D-Day
The D-Day liberated the western side of the Europe from the Nazi Germans. This was intended to mislead the Germans from who they were going to get attacked by. This was the first ending part of the war in Europe. -
Hiroshima and Nagasaki
On August the Americans dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima. These two atomic bombs were dropped to stop the end of the war and keep peace.The Hiroshima bombing wiped out nearly 90% of the city and killed over 40,000 in Nagasaki
